SATM: Eeeeh, I was supposed to do this on August 10, gosh darn it..
COFTW: I’m not really sure… I suppose reading a certain type of manga that I won’t tell you because it’s embarrassing, hehe. Ah, I’m somewhat obsessing over high school. It’s a scary-ass place. Seriously.

Anyways, HELLO!
Welcome to another post on this odd site that is not very good at updating
So today, I am going to cover the first three days of high school at VVHS.
The first day was hectic at the least. You see, at PMS, well, it’s a small school and not overly crowded. VVHS was overwhelming. There was like a person in every square yard of the school during passing period. All moving around. I felt like a lost child.
Anyways, I got a ride with AS, and we got to the school at around 7:10-ish. First thing we had to do: Go to the gym and get your official schedule. My schedule consisted of Biology (which I will be changing to Biology Honors), Survey PE (regular), Foods 1, first lunch, Geometry, English 1 Honors, and World History/Culture/Geography Honors. And yeah. After I got my schedule, I quickly tried to find my friends. The only thought in my mind at that moment was, “I will not survive without my friends D:” That’s it, that’s what was in my mind. I found Bunneh Buddeh and GL and we just walked around for a bit trying to find others. We found KT, KB, Pie, Banana, Juice, and some others that I won’t mention because they’re not too important
The bell rang and we all parted ways. It was a sad moment. I was so used to us all going to the same class. Anyways, there was no homeroom so I felt rather odd. Hmm, well, let’s get into the first school day segment of HIGH SCHOOL AHHHHH.
Period 1: Biology, Mrs. L introduced herself and then we had a sort of bingo card in which we had to fill in names of people in certain squares. Like if you’re afraid of cats, that’s one square, or play instruments, or have your own car, or something else. We also had to fill out a info card about our goals and stuff about us. Rather boring, but the teacher was nice. She had a comment for everything. All comments were fairly chuckle-worthy.
Period 2: PE, I don’t think I’m going to like PE. The coach seems decent. I couldn’t tell if he was a yelling type or whatever. He seemed… neutral, I suppose. I found one of my classmates, I was really relieved. And then I met a new person. To be honest, I don’t quite like her. I like to think of myself as a polite person and I’m going to use that as a reason to talk to her. To be honest, she seems like the kind of girl I would avoid. She went to a different middle school in the same district (you know, the kind of school that’s usually at the bottom in terms of test scores…) I didn’t judge her because of that, but I dunno. I can’t really put my finger on what I didn’t like about her. Maybe just the way she talked. I sort of got the feeling that she’s the talker in class, that one girl who knows a lot of people and feels the need to talk, the one that I don’t like being in the same class with. I feel bad to say this, but she’s one of the reasons I hope to change my schedule tomorrow morning.
Period 3: Foods 1, you know, I thought I would be really excited. All I could think about was baking cookies and making delicious meals. Nope, this one semester course is about kitchen safety and making healthy meals based off the food pyramid (or food plate). Suddenly, the class wasn’t as appealing as it was before I stepped in and took a seat.
Period something: Lunch. To be honest, I don’t really know what period it is because technically, 4th period is Geometry for me. I’m just going to say Period 3.5. Yeah, that works for me… Anyways, I found my friends and stuff and we all sat together under a tree and stuff. It didn’t last as long as I had hoped. ![]()
Period 4: Geometry, the teacher talked pretty much the whole period. She seems REALLY nice. Based on first impressions for the whole day, I’d say she was my favorite. Thumbs up to you Mrs. P! Geometry seems like a good class!
Period 5: English 1 Honors (E1H), I’m not sure what I was expecting, but in general Mrs. N seems like a FAIR teacher. By fair, I mean that she can understand the personal problems that we might have, but she will be strict when needed, if that makes any sense… Basically, we just turned in our summer assignments and got a syllabus. Pretty much it.
Period 6: World History Honors (WHH), okay, teacher… Most of my friends have her 3rd period, from what I heard, from the moment they heard her voice, they knew that she would be a cool teacher. I did not get the same feeling. To me, she sounded sort of like a teenager, I kind of liked that, made her seem a bit more relatable I guess. But at one point during her little intro, she said, “I don’t believe in fun…” There was a part after that, but that really hit me. This course would not be fun. I didn’t really know how to take that…
And that was my first school day. The other two days were pretty much the same. Mostly teachers talking, trying to get to know the names of the students, seemed like a pretty basic intro to the school year.
Anyways, I shall end it here. Hopefully I can post maybe once a week. I think that should be good.
Hmm, you know what… I’m not going to end it here. My reason? I forgot to tell you about the epic bowling event that happened on Friday with the Teens For Christ choir group I’m in!
Okay, on Thursday during practice, SB (director) said that we should go bowling before she leaves to go to college (she’s leaving this Wednesday). So we all agreed on 6 PM at Brunswick. Only 9 of the members came, it was slightly disappointing, but it was still fun!
First game, more like first half of the first game, our game ended because 6 of us signed up on the wrong lane. It was supposed to be just one person on the lane because the others wouldn’t bowl. Basically, SB signed up for 3 games, single person, one lane. When we got to the 5th frame on the 6th person, our game just ended and we didn’t know what to do. I then figured out that we had bowled enough frames to account for a single person playing three games. After that, we all just switched over to the other lane and started a new game. After that SB and the others who weren’t “officially” bowling just came in during one of the “official” bowler’s frames. So yeah, we went on and we cheered for each other and for some reason they kept saying that I was ninja. I dunno why, I guess I’m a ninja
Anyways, somehow, I ended up winning. The person originally in the lead JA, completely missed all the pins on two frames and I just caught up. It was weird. I felt really happy when I won, being the youngest and all, haha. After that we went into the arcade and just had fun. The highlight of the night was when JA played against SB on Air Hockey. I got the last score on film. Right when JA scored, SB was like, “Noooo” and fell to ground very dramatically. Then JA helped her up and they hugged. It was amazing. I posted it on our FB group, everyone just laughed at it. Prior to uploading onto FB, I actually edited the part where JA scored and made a slow-mo replay. It felt even more epic. Today after church, we talked about it and I guess they liked how I edited it and SB was like, “Whyyyyyy!?” It was hilarious. It was tons of fun.
Oh, and I guess we’re going bowling tomorrow, maybe something else epic will occur
Byeeeee!
