SATM: I’m tired. It’s hot. I’m complaining. My life is weird right now.
COFTW: None. Oh wait! Practicing drum beats. I’m learning a little bit… Well, you’ll find out why.
SPN: 169? I have no clue. Yeah.. I think it’s 169. Eh, whatever.
HEYYYYYY!
I didn’t find the time to post last week. Sorry about that. I will try to be more diligent.
Anyways… High school for the past two weeks… It’s gotten a little bit better. I’m getting used to the huge crowds in the hallway. Teachers are starting to get serious, which is good, but, well, I dunno how I’ll handle them this year. After all, they are high school teachers.
Hmm, let’s go over major events. I joined concert band and marching band as a percussionist. Right now I play top bass, but my role will probably move around drums, xylophones, bells, whatever the heck there is. What else is there… We started dressing out for PE. I’m still feeling awkward. I’m lucky enough to have a locker on the very outer part of the row. It’s very squished in there. So I can just dress up and stuff in the open where there’s not that many people, yay! Gah, I don’t know what else.
Oooh! I remember something else. Okay, well, as you know, I was (fortunately) placed into Honors classes. At VVHS, they allow a summer trip and it’s open to those in Honors/AP English ONLY. So, the trip is available to me. Mrs. N passed papers to those interested. It was basically an itinerary of what would occur while on the trip. The trip is to France and Spain (OMG?!), for ten days (OMGAHHHHH?!), with tons of tours and 3 hours of free time each day all for the price of about $3K. Obviously, that is quite a sum, especially for those affected by the economy. I honestly do not intend to brag, but fortunately for me and my family, we were not so heavily affected. As long as we can save money each month (by June/July), I can go on the trip. However, my mom doesn’t want me to just go on the trip expecting my mom and dad to just go along with it and pay $3K. So she’s making a contract saying that I have to clean the house, do the chores, and keep up a 4.0 for the year. I am going to gladly accept this contract. Seriously, keeping the house clean CHECK! Keeping up my grades? CHECK! I can so do this!
Hopefully
Anyways, that’s pretty much all the news I have.
I’ll try and come up with a way to incorporate a School Day into the next post.
