I felt that I should put this up here. It was one of the most painful days, but I want to remember it. (I centered it…)

Gstrum97 aka Mgm (20:33:21) :

*sigh* It pains me to say this, it really does, but this is my retirement comment.

I love the Watex Warriors with all my heart, but there are some things I really need to focus on in my life. WW has brought me both joy and pain.

The thing about my pain is so much joy was what lead up to it. I made really good friends here in WW, and I hope to still be friends with them, but when everybody left, all this pain just consumed me. I wish that I had never joined CP armies, but because of my joining it lead to so many great and horrible memories.

Watex Warriors army was the first army I had ever joined. The reason I joined: A member of the Watex forum talked about it. I was so interested in joining, Watex was my CP idol. (one of the reasons I made my site) That day when I came on chat, it was completely full. I PCed all the owners/mods on chat that day. I made some great friends because of it. But throughout these 6-7 months, a lot has happened. I’ve changed a lot. I’m not just some silly noob running around anymore. I’ve become a very well experienced soldier to this army.

I think almost all the leaders said I was one of the people in this army who had the potential to lead this army. I was amazed at the time. I had no idea what they had thought of me before that time. I was glad they thought that of me. This was just one of the joys WW has brought me. But let’s go back to a time before that happened.

I won’t go too much into the details, but here’s a very rough summary.
Ark had made AT. He stated that he had on chat. I wanted to join because then I just liked armies, not knowing what joining would entail. It caused me a lot of pain. I was torn between two armies. AT was labled as a WW rebellion, which it was not. (not many people knew that.) To cut this story short, quite a few people were against me, but we showed them the Truth. It took a lot out of me at that time.

As you can see I’ve already made this comment too long. I’m going to end it with people who are very special to me.

Spaceybirdy: I know you probably won’t read this, but I’m going on anyways. You are the strangest, weirdest, but best leader WW had. In a way that goes with your name, you’re the Spaciest Birdy I’ve ever met =)

Wii Mountain: You were a great leader, it was a sad day when you retired. A semi-good friend to me.

Lucario564 (did I get that right?): Well, you’re awesome and I can leave it at that.

Ark428 (not sure about the numbers…): A great leader, and thanks for making my first leadership in AT a great one.

Raven511426: Your story is awesome, and you were a great friend to me.

Santa0704 aka ALM II: Probably one of my greatest friends. We had some good talks, and some bad arguments, a great friendship if I do say so myself.

Blue Missy: The funniest girl in WW.

Other people I’ve met, but don’t care to write much about:

Super Blip: I still want Spacey’s sofa’s #1 clone (D)
Vicxyz…
Kenni Tram…
IAmWEC aka Will…
Trog…
Chheddacheez: wish you were still here…
Solraida: ah, my first marriage… you’re a cool dude.
Saiyaman: You really are the future of WW, believe it.

I don’t really remember the rest, but just know that WW depends on you.

A note. I’ll probably come on chat once a week, and I’ll still check the site every once in a while.

I might come back in the future, but for now Goodbye Watex Warriors, thanks for a joyous and painful time.

PS: I expect you think I shouldn’t retire, but that is my choice, also, I don’t expect to get replies to this comment, but feel free to…

Mgm I’m sad to see you go. To me you weren’t just a great soldier. Your were a great friend. I’m glad I got to meet you. I know what you mean about how you wished to never had joined Club Penguin armies. Sometimes I wish I never did either.

My question is, are you still going to work at silentsorrows.wordpress.com ?

Vicxyz:
Gosh… so many good people leaving…

Mgm:
Raven: Yes I will still be working at the ‘Sorrows, probably not as much as before though.

Something I forgot to mention: For those of you who are my friends and want to stay in contact, just leave a comment on my site, and I’ll get back to you…

Mgm:
Knew I forgot someone… Anyways (think of this as an addition to my retirement…)

Supperz1: One of the first people to tell me that I had potential. (and that was back then when I was just noob who knew nothing about armies…) He tried to put me in a few elections, but failed… but that’s besides the point. All in all you were very encouraging to me and I thank you for that.

Santa0704:
I haven’t shed a tear in so long…

I’m going to miss you Em Gee, erm, Mgm. No, stratch that, WE are going to miss you. You were always right, you were one of the few who we, the 4 Leaders of your time (Wii Mountain, Spaceybirdy, Lucario, and myself), saw out to be the future leaders of the Watex Warriors. To see you go is just, well, shorting up the list…

I read all your comments you’ve left for me over and over, the one’s where I left my email, and they all touched that cold black n’ blue heart of mine, which rarely anything does. You reached a point that scarce people ever do. You reached my emotions.

I remember it like it was yesterday. To us, it was just a normal day on chat, but for WW history, it was the birth of a great WW soldier.

Just taking care of a few things, as usual, when we all see a new recruit has come on chat.

Nothing extrordinary or fantastic about it, we got it all the time. But this one was different, this one did what none of the rest did:

They used Grammar.

Okay, besides that: This one person had the leadership that almost none of us had, what many fought for over centuries in ancient times. The mind and heart of a true Warrior.

If I do remember, you did PC me. I was working on something, and I got a PC. Being as friendly as I am (hey, I can dream, can’t I?), I started to have a conversation with you, not realizing I was speaking to one of the greatest thing I, nor anyone in WW History, ever saw: The True Hero.

But times come, as always, for we all have expirienced it, one way or another, where it is time to go. To leave this all behind and start fresh. I would know, I’ve done it 5 times already.

This comment is longer then it should be, but to simplify it:

You were an awesome friend and an awesome fighter, who fought for the truth, and not for a certain side: but for what was right. We’ll never forget that.

Take Care, As I Know You Will,
Santa0704, WW Legend

Lje98:
Woah Mgm I think you may of just broke a WordPress record for the longest comment! Anyways, I never really got to meet you but I honestly wish you all the best in life and btw, if you ever wish to come back to the WW, then we will welcome you back without a second thought. On the other hand (or should I say flipper?), so many great soldiers and leaders retiring/quiting. I fear that soon CP armies will be no more, unless we get people moving up the ranks, because like it or not, the lower ranked people are the next generation of CP Army legends, and legends such as Wii, Spacey, Klim and Person emphasise this. This is why I feel that if you retire as a leader, then you can’t come back unless you are asked or the army is in great danger .

Adding to that I feel that this lull in CP warfare is the main reason why legends are retiring. You wouldn’t be riduculed for comparing it with the “Recession” in real life. The sooner we give CP warfare a kick up the butt, the sooner legends will stop retiring.

Raven511426:
Another reason people retire Lje is because people want to concentrate on their life. I can feel the call of retirement and I believe I may retire soon. Not like September or anything. Probably for my 3 year anniversary in Club Penguin armies. Hopefully by then my dream, which Santa knows about, will be fulfilled.

There you have it. My retirement from September 4, ’09 – Present.

There were a few more comments. You can view them all here: http://wwarmy.com/2009/09/01/recruitment-contest-almost-overrecruiting-session/#comments

For those who need that translated into words: I am happy, but sad.
